Sidewalk Labs — Toronto
Sidewalk Labs is partnering with the city of Toronto to develop a new neighborhood on the waterfront that will use groundbreaking technologies to reduce environmental impact and improve quality of life. We were tasked with creating four short documentaries about their big ideas around the things they care most about: housing, sustainability, transportation, and digital platforms. We used this opportunity to mix documentary interviews with playful animations to bring some of their more complex concepts to life.
I teamed up with the Illustrator Julie Muckensturm to develop a raw effect by adding natural imperfections and rough edges.
